        I love this article! I have tried gratitude journals, but have struggled with them because I don’t really feel ‘grateful’ for that sunset. But noticing the daffodils today, yes that was a little “snack of joy” in my day.

          Great article, thanks for sharing, Christy! I took up cross-country skiing this year at a local state park which makes its own snow (we’re getting less and less of it here in WI). Yesterday, 6 deer flew out of the woods and across the trail. That was definitely a joy snack! Small joy snacks are providing big comforts to me right now. I just need to remind myself to be fully present for them, like Mary’s noticing of the daffodils.

          (Just noticed my Google photo from 16 years ago automatically uploaded with this post. I’m gonna need to update that LOL.)
